Descriptions & Application
Spring Ledge Farm
We're currently looking to fill a few
specific jobs and we are always interested in full time help who are
interested in plants, gardening, vegetables and enjoy working outdoors and
with people.
Specific positions include:
Field Cut
Flower Picker - We need someone who is willing to head out most
mornings into our 1/3 acre cut flower patch and pick bouquets to sell at
the farmstand. We will train a qualified applicant. Pay is by
the flower bunch, so the faster you can pick, the more you make.
Hours are very flexible, although we prefer flowers to be picked in the
morning as that is when they are freshest. The busiest days are
Thursday through Sunday. Other tasks (paid hourly) can include
flower garden upkeep and maintenance, planting seeds, organizing and
stocking the cut flower customer area (keeping clippers available, making
copies of cut flower information sheets, keeping the place looking
good). The job usually begins around late June and can extend
throughout the summer months into September. If you love picking
flowers and want to be paid to be outside, please call us or fill out an application
and send it to us. We look forward to hearing from you.
