Hospital Day Parade:

Spring Ledge Farm joins in the summer fun each August as the New London Hospital puts on a fair in the middle of town.  The parade on Saturday is a highlight.  The field crew at Spring Ledge starts the in depth planning of the parade float early on...right about 11 a.m. that Saturday morning.  We run amuck collecting this and that and then try to fit it all into the parade theme for that particular year.  We have been known to toss all sorts of goodies to the spectators along the parade root: corn, zuchinni, carrots, and flower petals.
