Cut Flower Talks:

Cut Flower talkNo matter when we plant the field cut flowers, we always seem to have a flush of blooms in mid-July.  And every year, we wish more people would come by just to walk through the cut flower garden while the blooms are so numerous.  This year, we plan on hosting two evenings in the cut flower garden to showcase the mass of blooms.

Agrostema githago 'Purple Queen'

The first date is on Wednesday July 23rd, 2003 at 6:15 p.m.  The second date is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30th, 2003 again at 6:15 p.m. Both of these very informal get togethers are open to everyone and they are free.

Tasha flowersFlower guy Greg will show you around the cut flower garden and we can chat about the 233 varieties of cut flowers we grow for cutting.  Its a great place to find new varieties to try in your own garden.  You can check out their plant habit, flower color and height.  We will discuss some tips for long-lasting blooms and everyone can pick a complimentary bouquet of flowers.

We will provide the plant listings, refreshments, buckets, scissors and flowers.
